Can You Add Protection to an Aosom Order?
Yes. Some listings offer a paid 1 Year Product Protection Plan as an add-on, such as $36.39 on a PawHut catio and $5.52 on a rabbit hutch. This plan is separate from the standard 1-year limited warranty, so you may not need it for every item.
Which Payment Options Does Aosom Accept?
Aosom’s safe shopping page lists Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, JCB, PayPal and Afterpay. Afterpay lets qualified buyers pay in four installments instead of all at once. Pay-later plans are a form of credit, so check the schedule and make sure you can cover each payment on time.
Aosom Shipping, Returns and Warranty
How Much Is Aosom Shipping?
Shipping is free on all orders, according to Aosom’s shipping FAQ, but only to physical addresses within the 48 contiguous United States. The FAQ lists 24 hours of warehouse processing plus 3-7 business days of transit, and orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday. Monarch Specialties items take 1-2 days to process and 5-10 business days in transit. To keep shipping free, Aosom does not offer expedited shipping, and it does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, Puerto Rico, PO boxes or international addresses.
What Is the Aosom Return Policy?
Aosom.com purchases may be returned for any reason within 30 days, according to its returns page. First, contact customer service within that period to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, because returns without an RMA are not accepted. Items should go back in their original packaging with all accessories.
Aosom pays return shipping for defective or not-as-described items and may issue a prepaid label. Change-of-mind returns, wrong color or size orders and orders that shipped before a cancellation go back at the customer’s expense. If an item arrives damaged or defective, report it within 7 days, and keep photos or video in case customer service asks for them.
What Does the Aosom Warranty Cover?
Aosom’s limited warranty applies to products bought from Aosom and its sub-brands, including Outsunny, HOMCOM, PawHut, Qaba, Soozier, Vinsetto, Kleankin and Durhand. The page describes a 1-year warranty that begins on the date of purchase, unless a product states otherwise, and says coverage is decided case by case. Aosom’s shipping FAQ adds that modifying or altering a product voids the original warranty.
How Can You Save at Aosom?
- Use free shipping. Every order to the 48 contiguous states ships free, so there is no minimum to reach.
- Compare sale prices. Many listings show a reduced price, such as $231.99 against $274.99 for an Outsunny swing.
- Skip extras you do not need. The standard 1-year warranty already covers defects, so weigh the paid protection plan per item.
- Use a code. Our Aosom coupon page lists current codes and offers; click Get Code so the discount is applied.

💡 Things to Consider
- You need an RMA number before you send anything back, and unauthorized returns are refused. Contact customer service first and keep your RMA email.

- No expedited shipping, and no delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes or US territories. Order early for patio season or holidays.
Aosom’s strengths are free shipping on every order, a broad house-brand catalog and a 1-year warranty. The things to consider are mainly about returns and delivery speed, and you can plan for them by checking dimensions first, keeping the box and ordering early.
Is Aosom Legit?
Aosom publishes the policies we look for in a real online store: a shipping FAQ, a returns page with an RMA process, a 1-year limited warranty, a safe shopping page and contact details. Its contact pages list a phone line (Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm PST, except major holidays), an email address that the company says replies within 24 hours and live chat. It also accepts PayPal and major cards. As with any large order, get your RMA before sending anything back and keep your order confirmation.
