2. Add your chosen voucher(s) to the shopping cart on the site.
3. Proceed to checkout by clicking the cart icon.
4. Locate the “Discount code” or “Promo code” field on the payment page.

Automatic Discounts vs Manual Code Entry

Currently, Virgin Balloon Flights primarily relies on manual code entry during checkout for applicable promotions. Automatic discounts are rare or not publicly documented. When codes are available, manual input in the promo code field is required to activate the discount. Always verify the discount reflects in your order total before completing payment.

Savings Hacks & Tips for Virgin Balloon Flights

Seasonal Promotions: When to Watch for Discounts

Virgin Balloon Flights occasionally offers seasonal promotions around major holidays such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day. These offers typically appear sporadically and are announced via email newsletters or social media rather than a dedicated discount page. Historically, spring and summer months have also featured deals, so those seasons can be ideal for flexible travelers looking to save.

I strongly recommend subscribing to the Virgin Balloon Flights newsletter to receive alerts about flash sales and exclusive seasonal discounts as soon as they go live (Virgin Balloon Flights Official Site).

How to Save with Gift Voucher Delivery Options

Selecting the right delivery method for your Virgin Balloon Flights vouchers can impact your overall cost. E-vouchers are delivered instantly via email at no additional charge, making them the most efficient choice for gifting or personal bookings. Physical gift vouchers ship through standard postal service in 3-5 working days.

If you need your physical voucher sooner, next working day express delivery is available for an extra fee, typically between £5 and £10. However, this option should be reserved for last-minute gifting due to the added cost. Note that Virgin Balloon Flights does not offer international shipping for physical vouchers since their services focus on UK locations (Delivery Information).

Cashback Stacking: Combine Gift Voucher Purchases with Credit Card Rewards

Although Virgin Balloon Flights does not provide direct cashback or loyalty rewards programs, you can still enhance savings by using credit cards that offer cashback or reward points when purchasing your vouchers. Combining the value from credit card rewards with any promotional discounts or sales can maximize your out-of-pocket savings.

Keep in mind that credit card reward structures vary widely, so review your card’s terms to optimize your benefits effectively.

Booking Flexibility & Cancellation Awareness

Virgin Balloon Flights respects UK Consumer Contracts Regulations by offering a 14-day cancellation right on unused physical or e-vouchers. Refunds during this period are returned via the original payment method, provided the voucher has not been used or activated.

However, once you have booked a specific flight date, cancellations and changes fall under the individual operator's terms. These may include fees or non-refundable deposits. Always review your booking details, cancellation policy, and any applicable fees carefully before finalizing your purchase (FAQs and Refund Policy).

To optimize your savings, watch seasonal promotions, choose e-voucher delivery to avoid shipping fees, and leverage credit card rewards where possible.
