2. Proceed to the checkout page after confirming your chosen plan.

3. Locate the field labeled “Discount code” or “Promo code” on the payment page. Enter your code here if you have one.

Savings Hacks & Tips for Todoist

Student Discount: How to Verify & Save 50%

One of the most valuable savings on Todoist is the 50% student discount available for Pro plans. To qualify, you must verify your student status via a recognized student email address ending with .edu or through the UNiDAYS verification platform. This exclusive discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers.

Applying this discount means you receive Todoist’s premium features at half the price — an excellent deal for students managing coursework, projects, and complex schedules.

Free Trial Strategy: Test Before You Commit

Todoist’s 30-day free trial provides full access to Pro plan features, allowing you to evaluate its value risk-free. The catch is you must provide a credit card at signup, and the trial will auto-renew unless canceled before day 30.

This trial approach is a smart tactic to get hands-on productivity benefits and decide if Todoist fits your workflow before paying.

Cashback Stacking: Combine with Credit Card Rewards

While Todoist does not run loyalty or referral programs, you can amplify your savings by paying with credit cards that offer cashback on software subscriptions. Many cards deliver between 1-5% cashback on such expenses.

By combining these rewards with your annual plan discount or student savings, you increase your overall value beyond just the subscription price.

What To Do If Your Todoist Code Doesn't Work?

Verify Code Eligibility and Expiry

Currently, Todoist’s only active public promo code is the student discount. If you find other codes, they are likely expired or invalid.

Check the terms of any code for conditions like “new users only” or plan restrictions. Confirm valid usage dates. If a code is expired or doesn’t apply, rely on the student discount or annual plan savings for guaranteed benefits.

Clear Cache and Try Different Browser

Sometimes, browser cookies or cache interfere with discount application. Clear your browser cache, try using an incognito/private window, or switch browsers/devices to troubleshoot persistent issues.
