Applying your 10% off first booking discount on GetYourGuide is simple and seamless. I worked with our team to verify these steps in October 2026, ensuring you get your savings every time.

1. Select your preferred tour or activity and add it to your booking cart via GetYourGuide's official site.

2. Proceed to checkout. For the 10% first-time customer discount, no code needs to be entered since it applies automatically for eligible new users.

3. Verify your order summary to confirm the 10% discount is reflected before you complete payment.

4. Complete your booking. You'll instantly receive a digital ticket—no shipping required.

5. If a code doesn't apply, double-check eligibility conditions such as new customer status or product exclusions.

This smooth checkout ensures your savings activate right away without hassle.

Automatic Discounts vs Manual Code Entry

GetYourGuide primarily uses automatic discounts like the 10% first booking offer that applies directly once eligibility criteria are met. While some third-party promotions occasionally require manual code entry, most official savings come through seamless checkout adjustments to save you time and ensure accuracy.

Savings Hacks & Tips for GetYourGuide

First-Time Booking Discount: Save 10% Off

The cornerstone of GetYourGuide's savings is the 10% off your very first booking, automatically applied for new customers without needing any promo code. This official discount helps you instantly reduce your travel expenses—booking a $100 tour saves you $10 outright (GetYourGuide official site).

Seasonal Sales: Holiday & Black Friday Discounts

Beyond the first booking discount, GetYourGuide runs seasonal promotions during key periods like Christmas and New Year holidays, and Black Friday, featuring discounts on select tours. Summer and winter sales also provide additional opportunities to save on popular destinations and combo bundles. Planning ahead for these events is a great way to boost your savings (GetYourGuide's website).

Bundle Deals: Combo Tour Savings

For travelers who prefer multiple experiences, GetYourGuide offers combo tours—curated packages that combine two or more activities at a discounted rate. These bundle deals lower the per-activity cost, making it easier for you to enjoy a robust itinerary without overspending.

Email Signup Incentive: Additional 10% Off

Signing up for GetYourGuide’s newsletter grants an extra 10% off your first booking as a welcome offer. Although stacking this email incentive with the new-customer discount may be possible in some cases, you should verify eligibility directly on GetYourGuide’s official website. This sign-up reward is a smart way to increase your savings when securing your initial bookings (source).

Cashback Stacking: Boost Your Savings

You can further extend your savings by combining GetYourGuide’s official discounts with cashback offers from credit cards or third-party portals. Layering cashback rewards on top of promo codes and seasonal deals effectively reduces your overall out-of-pocket expense, a strategy supported by market trends and user experiences.
